Miles to Go, Meals to Savor, and a Self to Discover: Robo's Return to the Open Road.

Alright folks, buckle up! Robo is back in the driver's seat and ready to rumble across this beautiful nation once again! After a little pit stop, your favorite long-haul driver is firing up the engine and hitting the open road to deliver those various sized trucks, from nimble 26-foot box trucks to speedy delivery vans and everything in between, from coast to coast. And let me tell you, this isn't just about the deliveries; it's about the adventure, the sights, and most importantly, the grub!

For those of you who are new to the Robo chronicles, welcome aboard! For the seasoned veterans who've followed my journeys on www.roboaces.com and my Instagram @roboace, you know I'm not just hauling freight; I'm hauling memories and a serious appetite. You might have seen some of my past escapades – the stunning landscapes, the quirky roadside attractions, and, of course, the mouthwatering meals that fuel these long hauls. And trust me, after crisscrossing this country and hitting every state except Alaska and Hawaii (those are definitely on the bucket list!), I've got a treasure trove of stories and recommendations.

Now, some of you might be thinking, "Driving all day? Sounds boring." To that, I say, "Have you ever seen a sunrise paint the Rocky Mountains in shades you didn't even know existed?" Or maybe, "Have you ever stumbled upon a tiny diner in the middle of nowhere that serves up the best darn pie you've ever tasted?" This country is a masterpiece, and I get to see it one mile at a time. And yeah, sometimes you're just staring at asphalt, but even then, there's a certain rhythm to the road, a sense of freedom that's hard to beat.

But let's be real, a big part of this adventure is the food. I'm talking about chasing down the legendary lobster roll in Boston that everyone raves about. I'm talking about that pilgrimage back to Texas for some slow-smoked BBQ that melts in your mouth. And don't even get me started on the fresh, authentic tacos I crave every time I head to Southern California. I've got my old favorites, the places I know I can always count on for a good meal and a friendly face. But this time around, I'm on the hunt for new legends.

Speaking of legends… Did you hear about the restaurant that only served invisible food? The reviews were great, apparently, the portions were out of sight! Or how about the driver who tried to parallel park a double-decker bus in a compact space? Let's just say it was a tight squeeze! And you know, sometimes I feel like my GPS has a personal vendetta against me. It'll say, "In 500 feet, make a sharp left." And I'm thinking, "Buddy, I'm maneuvering a vehicle that's practically the length of a bowling lane!"

But hey, that's all part of the fun, right? The unexpected detours, the crazy characters you meet at rest stops, and the constant search for that perfect cup of coffee at 3 AM. My social media feeds and this BLOG will be your window into this world, filled with snapshots of the journey, the scenery, and, you guessed it, the food! So make sure you're following along for the ride.

There's a unique power in the solitude of the long haul. With the endless miles stretching before you and the familiar hum of the engine as your constant companion, the world outside begins to fade, and the world within takes center stage. Turning off the radio, silencing the chatter, leaves only your thoughts echoing in the vast expanse of the country. It's in these quiet moments, traversing the landscapes alone, that you truly confront yourself, your aspirations, and your understanding of the world. As the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard wisely said, "To venture causes anxiety, but not to venture is to lose one's self… And to not venture in one's own highest sense is precisely to be in despair." These journeys across America are not just about delivering vehicles; they are a venture into the self, a continuous process of discovery and rediscovery on the open road.

This time around, though, I'm not just revisiting old haunts. I'm on a mission to discover those hidden gems, the local favorites that haven't made it to the glossy travel magazines. I want to hear your recommendations! What's that hole-in-the-wall diner with the killer breakfast burrito? Where can I find the most mind-blowing seafood outside of the coasts? What's that regional specialty I absolutely have to try?

Beyond the culinary landscape, I'm also making a mental checklist of things I need to see before I hang up my keys for good and leave this giant rock. Watching the sunset paint the Grand Canyon in fiery hues is definitely high on that list. Maybe finally making it to see the Northern Lights dance across the Alaskan sky. Perhaps standing in awe of the giant redwoods in California. These are the moments that remind you how incredible this planet is, and I'm determined to experience as many of them as I can.

So, if you happen to live in a part of the country with a must-see landmark or a can't-miss culinary experience, don't be shy! Drop me a line on Instagram or leave a comment on my blog. And hey we can meet up somewhere on my journey or if you're feeling particularly hospitable and want to invite a weary driver in for a home-cooked meal, well, I certainly wouldn't say no! You never know what kind of stories and laughter might be shared around your dinner table.

The open road is calling, and Robo is ready to answer. Let the adventures – and the delicious discoveries – begin! Stay tuned for updates, photos, and plenty of tales from the highways and byways of America. See you down the road! "AS ALWAYS, STAY SAFE, AND MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!"
